Chiara Sottile

Chiara Sottile is a freelance journalist whose work highlights Indigenous communities and news about race and justice. Her experience includes more than a decade in front of and behind the camera at NBC Network News, where she also co-founded the global employee resource group Indigenous@NBCU.

She holds a Master of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Columbia University and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (International Relations) from the University of California at Los Angeles. She is enrolled in the Karuk tribe of California.
